Dun dun, dun dun, dun da da dun da dun dun
The BBC have won back the rights to F1 from next year.
Will this mean the end of James Allen?
I hope it won't mean the end of Martin Brundle. If the BBC haven't poached him I will be very disapointed.
The lack of adverts will be awesome though!

I heard this on the radio this morning. Result
I agree too that Martin Brundle should be part of the deal.
How about some speculation for a new commentator? David Croft making the transition to TV?

It's great news. Do you think they'll have several interactive screens to watch, as they do for Wimbledon, Olympics and the World Cup?
I'm sure they'll feel the need to change some of the presenting staff, and at least one of the commentators.

The best commentator that I have heard in a long time is Jackie Stewart. If they could only get him to do the ‘trip round the circuit’ it would be great.
That's true. I think Jackie Stewart did Monaco last year didn't he. It would be awesome. The shear amount of information he managed to put in was amazing. I don't think he'd be able to sustain it for the whole race but you never know.
If I was taking a punt I'd guess it will be Crofty and Brundle.

Martin has to be there, nobody else could grid walk like him and get all the interviews he does.
Best ever was in Spain a few years back when he went up to King Juan Carlos and said "Hey King how are you?" and he replied "Hey, great, thanks for the drive I loved it, give me a call later..." or words to that effect.
Martin had taken him round the track in a two seater, and made a friend for life.
Legend.
