The conspiracy of 76
What is it that autosport has against Bernie Ecclestone? A clear editorial decision has been made over there to mention a certain something every time they write about him. His age.
I'm not exactly sure when I first started noticing it but I think it's in the last year that his name has changed from "Bernie Ecclestone" to "Bernie Ecclestone, 76".
Presumable he
a) doesn't care about it and
b) the journalists would claim that it was factual reportage assigning no motive.
But you don't see it saying, "Jenson Button, 27" so couldn't he do them under the age discrimination act? Although it would probably just make them dislike him more.
It just seems like a kind of cheap trick. And I'm not sure what they are trying to achieve? Do they want Matt Bishop to become head of FOM? I think we should be told.

I've been meaning to ask but haven't got round to compiling a post on the issue: what do you think of their decision to include MotoGP on autosport.com? Do you think it doesn't belong there? Will it affect your attitude to the sport or not? etc etc...
I don't mind it being there, it is part of Autosport (they talk about Nascar and so on too) but I use the F1 RSS feed so I don't actually see much about MotoGP unless I go to the site homepage for some reason (which doesn't often happen).
The only thing that does pop up is the MotoGP Features article (I think there may be one or two a week) because the features are combined into one feed, but I simply remember the name of the guy who writes it and skip over it.
So sadly for you this means that my attitude to MotoGP probably won't change. Or at least it's unlikely to change because of this.

Well, I personally enjoy being the only person I know who enjoys it, but I'm very annoyed that I won't be able to watch the first race of the season live this Saturday due to working.
I think Stew might be right.
Sometimes you've got to work for the man and sometimes you've got to stick it to the man.

So do you never actually visit any websites but get them all through RSS feeds? I personally like to visit places rather than have them come to me.
