Seat fitting
Kimi doesn't look right in a Ferrari shirt: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/56186
Alonso doesn't look right with a shaved head: http://www.autosport.com/magazine.html
Is this a bad sign, or completely irrelevant? Does how a driver look in his team colours matter at all, or will we just 'get used' to them? It's certainly a very superficial aspect of the sport, but if we feel uncomfortable, perhaps the drivers and the team might begin to do so, and if there is one problem, it can easily develop in to, and justify, many more...

I saw that picture of Kimi yesterday and thought it looked completely weird. And already I think he might look cooler in Red than he ever did before or Michael ever did. Maybe I'm fickle or adapt to change quickly or I'm just wrong.
But I do think perceptions like that could be really important. First impressions are a very key indicator of how people do at a firm.
In a study (somewhere) they showed that a managers opinion after seeing an interviewe in the lobby was a better indicator of how well somebody would do at a firm in the next ten years than the managers impression at the end of the interview. So it might be relevant - or not.

You beat me to it Nick! When i clicked on ITV F1 yesterday and saw a picture of Kimi lost in a sea of red i was surprised, i'm sure the colour will look fine on him but, with a red shirt and cap on and a red board behind him it all looked a bit over the top. (The logos on his shirt were quite comedy when i viewed the larger image though, they looked like they were just stuck on!)
Anyway, the image struck up in my mind was one of Kimi being being swallowed up in the giant Ferrari machine.
Which got me onto thinking, will he pull it all together and make it all work for him like Schumacher did or will he just turn up and wing it a bit, probably do pretty well then go back to his boat for a party?

I love the fact that on the one hand people seem to be saying that there isn't enough glamour and pizzaz in Formula 1 anymore and then the next second seem to be criticising Kimi for not taking things seriously enough.
He's always seemed to me to be pretty committed to the driving and also liked to have fun. They aren't as mutually exclusive as people like to think they are.
