So I missed the end...

...Sadly I was unable to watch the race live this weekend.

And at the end of this race for reasons best known to the machine I was watching on, I was unable to see anything after the bit that the anthems finished. The main thing I wanted to know was who was on the podium from Honda with Jenson. I didn't know who it was, and was interested. Also I was intrested to know how the podium celebrations actually went. If any of you were happy to describe it then I would be very happy to find out.

Comments:
I believe on the podium with Jenson was Mr Honda himself. Apparently, he chose this race at random to attend and Honda couldn't but put him up there, even though there may have been more appropriate team-members to have the honour (Nick Fry, or one of Jenson's engineers).

I watched the whole thing, and I believe have it recorded if you want to do the same, and there was much jollity from all - although Nick and Pedro seemed a little disappointed somehow. Jenson didn't seem to want to leave, as I remember.

A photo of the event in the Guardian today shows all of the crowd gathered around the podium and interestingly there are more BMW men than Honda there, and hardly any from McLaren.

Not literally Mr Honda, but Honda president Takeo Fukui.
